UF doesn’t really produce a higher TDS water than RO, it simply leaves tooriginal TDS of towater being treated unchanged.
We do agree with you that many RO systems do include additional prefilters, while we disagree with your assessment of our blog post. Most municipal water systems across North America do not have adverse TDS levels. This is where it starts getting really interesting, right? Ease of installation, ease of use, waste water produced and quality of water produced, when comparing cost. That’s right!
